Architecture and gardens – from Isola to Chiavenna across the Bregaglia Valley
The third BIANNELE BREGAGLIA will take place from 2 June to 28 September 2024. Misia Bernasconi, curator of the upcoming Biennale, has chosen the village of Bondo as the main venue following an open dialogue with the local population. If you draw a line across the Bregaglia Valley, from Isola to Chiavenna in Italy, Bondo lies in the geographical center. In addition to Bondo, the entire valley beyond the Swiss border will be included and brought together by an accompanying interdisciplinary programme.
The jury, consisting of Chiara Dynys, Davide Fogliada, San Keller, Lorenzo Madaro and Laurence Schmidlin, selected 10 artists
out of more than 230 applications from 21 countries.
